March is the Month of Miracles. There really is not too much more to say than that. This is a message I have been declaring on Facebook daily. I've been sharing it with everyone I know who has faith. It is a truth that rings in my spirit, both out of faith and out of necessity. I need the miraculous hand of God, and I serve a god of miracles. I know that this is not a message for everyone. But I know so many ladies who have been waiting and watching things look worse, and worse, and worse, but who have not given up hope. I know so many friends who have been expecting the hand of the Lord to deliver them in their time of trouble, and it just hasn’t seemed to come. I know so many sisters who have faced discouragement at so many levels, and whose hope has been pushed to the point of failure. Yet they still cling to the promises of the Lord: Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Eph. 3:20, emphasis mine) The Bible encourages us who wait. It proclaims us victorious when we operate according to God's timetable and not our own: But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isa. 40:31) Our waiting is not a passive "let’s see what happens," or a frivolous, "oh well." Our waiting has to be filled with a posture of conviction and faith -- of confident expectation and active hope. Our posture has to involve a willingness to see things the way God says they are rather than what seems apparent -- to walk by faith and not by sight. Our posture has to be filled with doing, with acting on the "power that works in us." There is a requirement, in order to receive, not only to believe, but to also act on those beliefs, activate our faith, and call those things that are not as though they were. Those believers -- active believers who by faith can agree with the God of miracles -- are the believers who expect a month of miracles today, and every day. Those believers know that God responds to our faith, and can't wait to save the day. To the centurion who wanted healing for his servant, Jesus responded, "as you have believed, so let it be done for you." (emphasis mine) Let your faith be known today by your actions. Turn your power on and get busy. And as you have believed -- actively believed -- that March is the Month of Miracles, so let it be done to you.
