Scripture-Centered and Student-Focused at WBC

Washington Bible College, Capital Bible Seminary and Equip Institute have a long history of providing Scripture-centered education, offer classes and registration online, and offer an adult degree completion program.
These are just a few reasons to consider the Lanham, MD school, which trains each generation of ministry and community leader with an ability to impact the world, both at home and abroad.
The non-denominational school, which is the only regionally accredited Bible college in Maryland with its main library and administrative offices in the state, has a history spanning more than 90 years, and boasts over 4,000 alumni serving across the country and around the world.
Here are just a few more reasons to consider attending or supporting the WBC/CBS mission:
WBC/CBS offer financial support to students.
WBC/CBS offers Ministry Support Grant that provides hundreds of dollars in discounts to qualified full-time students, and a grant to match church contributions covering up to 25% of a sponsored student’s tuition. Another program offers up to a 25% discount for students referred by a church that is a member of Project Bridges. Military veterans and active duty can also qualify for Veteran Education benefits and special tuition rates.
Showing its commitment to producing students who love Jesus, the school also offers a Discipleship scholarship, which covers up to 100% of designated student fees for students who are either members or leaders of approved discipleship program small groups.
WBC/CBS support students of all walks.
With services such as extended hours for the Help Desk, available after-hours eats, and even a liaison, the school aims to make the commuting student feel welcome on campus. But the colleges also boasts on-campus housing and a full range of food services for students who live on campus.
Students looking for convenience may find it with online services for registration and library, online courses for individuals in the workforce, and satellite locations in Annapolis and Virginia.
WBC/CBS have your degree.
Don’t know what to study? The schools have lots of choices. WBC now offers two Bachelor’s degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. Meanwhile, CBS has added certificates in Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling.
WBC/CBS help students succeed.
A Help Desk provides accommodations, auxiliary aids and service for students, and source information for students with disabilities. The writing center has tutors available to help strengthen students’ writing skills. The Oyer Memorial Library offers over 86,000 volumes, 12,000 non-print items, computer labs, and other tools and resources valuable to students. And an academic center helps students navigate through their educational careers while an international students advisor helps international students navigate their new lives.
And an expanded fitness center provides top-tier equipment, professional staff, and an environment that glorifies God through the music played and the standards set.
