Over 100 New York City clergy, community activists and community-based organizations were expected to gather today at the Bronx Christian Fellowship Church in the Bronx, NY to pray and plan a city-wide, faith-based strategy for houses of worship to catapult economic growth and sustainability in the aftermath of super storm Sandy.
Representatives from Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long island as well as Connecticut gathered from 10 am to lead a prayer vigil for families and friends who have lost loved ones and address the state of our nation in preparation for election day.
